Most patients experience a pink or red glow for about a day or two (think of it like a day spent in the Montana sun). Your skin might feel slightly tight or dry as it begins the renewal process. We will provide you with a specific plan for your aftercare, which includes using gentle cleansers and staying hydrated. It is very important to avoid direct sun and harsh active ingredients for the first few days. Most people find they can return to their normal makeup routine after 48 hours.
While your skin will look fresher within a week, the most exciting changes happen as the new collagen matures. You will typically notice a smoother texture and a more even tone about three to four weeks after your first visit. For concerns like deep scarring or significant wrinkles, we usually recommend a series of three to six treatments. Because this process builds a new foundation for your skin, the results are long-lasting and can be maintained with a consistent medical-grade skincare routine.

The number of treatments is dependent on your concern, the condition of your skin, and how you respond to the treatment. Initial treatment is 3-6 sessions, typically spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments as desired with recommendations of bi-yearly or yearly single treatments. Safe to maintain more frequently if desired.
For the first 48 hours, it is best to avoid heavy sweating, swimming, and hot tubs. You should also skip any active skincare products like Retinol or Vitamin C for about five days. We will give you a simple, gentle kit to use while your skin is in its initial healing phase.
